There are so many instances that you may need a last minute Christmas gift idea. Christmas is the time of year when there is so much going on that you might have forgotten to buy a present for that third cousin twice removed, or best friend’s sister’s boyfriend, that you found out at the last minute was stopping buy to wish you happy holidays. What could you possibly get someone that you may have only met once or twice in your entire life? You should try looking for small useful gifts. Check with others and see if this person is getting anything that requires batteries. You can then go out and find the biggest pack you can afford. Even if they don’t have a present that needs them, they will usually come in handy at some time in the future. Maybe a trip to your local dollar store would grant you that last minute Christmas gift idea. They usually have something cute or useful that you can find to give as a gift.

When in doubt, give that person something impersonal, like a gift certificate to their favorite online music or movie store. That way they can get the gift that they would want, and you don’t have to even consider what they might or might not like. This always makes them feel special and takes a load of stress off of you too. It only takes a few minutes to fill out the online forms and they can be used immediately. The happy recipient can begin their shopping adventure as soon as they walk in the door. With any luck, they will never know this was a last minute Christmas gift idea.
