Christmas Stocking Stuffers

It’s the night before Christmas and the stocking are hanging waiting to be filled with all those neat little Christmas stocking stuffers you bought. The children dream of the things they could get in their stockings. Little Timmy is hoping for that robotic warrior with action grip and little Betty is dreaming of the baby doll that drinks water from the little bottle. Their Mom is hoping for that necklace she pointed out four months ago, and Dad would love to have that electric razor he circled in the advertisement last week. Stocking stuffers are one of those things every Christmas list should include.

When shopping for those Christmas stocking stuffers, you should keep in mind that they need to be able to fit in the stocking. This is usually self explanatory. However, if you have something that is a bit big for the stocking, you could always turn it into a Christmas morning game, like a treasure hunt. This can be done by placing a note or riddle in the stocking that they have to figure out in order to get the rather large, and non fitting, stocking stuffers.

When buying stocking stuffers, you should include things such as candy and fruit. Nuts or other treats are a traditional Christmas stocking stuffers choice.  Add to that, little things, like small toys for the kids and useful knick knacks for the adults. Pen sets, small makeup kits, disposable razors, small bottles of cologne or perfume, and socks can make great stocking stuffers for the adults. Children would love to get small toys and puzzles in theirs.

You should also remember that no Christmas stocking is complete without that one very special gift. This will be something that is special to each person in their own little way. It doesn’t have to be overly extravagant or super pricy, but should show that you took the time to pick it out as one of their special Christmas stocking stuffers. It’s one of those special moments in life when you see their faces light up as they empty their stockings out and find that one small gift they had hoped they would get.  This can make you feel very special knowing you were able to give them that bit of happiness and they will love you even more because of it.

For the smaller less expensive Christmas stocking stuffers, you should look towards the dollar stores for the unique offerings they might have to make someone wonder just how you ever came up with that idea for a gift. This can be especially gratifying as your ingenuity is recognized and appreciated.
